During a recent city break with my family, we found ourselves at the Ibis Budget Madrid Alcalá De Henares, a smart choice for our quick stopover. The spacious, modern rooms offered comfort that perfectly catered to our needs after a long drive-definitely a relief for weary travelers! The friendly staff were so accommodating, especially when we had a little hiccup with our original room, but they swiftly moved us to a better spot. Located just a short walk from the train station, we were able to hop into Madrid's vibrant atmosphere within 30 minutes, which was fantastic for our adventure-packed itinerary. The buffet breakfast was decent enough to fuel our next day of exploring, though I admit the coffee wasn't the best. It's a great value and an ideal pit stop before heading out to soak in the stunning sights of Spain!
